The pasta’s surface follows a helical shape with waves that narrow to a point at the bottom and open at the top. The final form is defined by a parametric helix equation, with five adjustable parameters that control its shape and complexity.- Height and width determine the object's dimensions in the z- and xy-directions.
- Turns specifies how often the pasta rotates around itself.
- Depth_of_waves controls the depth of the canyons along the helix, and can be negative to alter the appearance.
- Number_of_waves sets the number of waves, with more waves creating narrower and more pronounced canyons.
As the number of waves increases, their curvature becomes more dramatic. Additionally, python scripts were developed to visualize the mesh’s edges and nodes, further enhancing the ability to analyze and manipulate the structure.
